2020 sucked, 2021 continues to be a battle, but it did result in bringing Alex Smolen and Chris Williams together in matrimony (yay!). While we kept the wedding small, we would love to have you at our beach front celebration that will be full tilt Smilliams! Two beach houses, some unknown amount of humans, a solid amount of drinks, and all of the happiness and love.
WHAT:
WHEN:
We miss you, our humans. It’s been far too long since we’ve seen you all. And while one of us is terrible at being the center of attention, we thought it would be much more “us” to have a whole week of celebration. SO, we rented two beach-front beach houses to host our crazy self-selected, extended family (Yep, that includes you!).
Can only come for part of the week?
All good, just let us know!
Only want to come during the day so you can sleep in your own bed?
Also fine, just let us know!
Can’t make it at all?
Also fine! We’ll miss you, but we also understand. This is not meant to be a stressful scenario, we just want to see you all.
LOL
It’s cute that you think we have that figured out. It’s September, 2021 and we’re still not even prepared for the actual wedding next month. First things first, RSVP por favor. That will help us figure out who loves us enough to come to the beach houses (just kidding… kind of). In the scenario that everyone wants to come hang out with us for an entire week because we are just that popular, reservations for non-bunk bed rooms will be first come first serve based on RSVP date, so keep that in mind. :)
As for food/chairs/whatever, we’ll obviously ask that people chip in a bit, but we aren’t even close to having that organized so just stay patient with us. Once we get past the actual getting married part we’ll be more functional (unlikely, but one can dream).
We're recommending formal attire.
HAHAHA.... Beach clothing is absolutely required. There will be no formal activities of note, so please just pack as if you were going to the beach, because you are.
That said, we may have a photographer, so if you want to dress to the nines, that is up to you!
